First Time at Book Off! Shopping Haul June 2021

Over the years I've heard stories of people finding cheap otome games and merch at this second hand store called Book Off, but I could only dream of visiting since there are no locations where I live. 

However I was out of town recently and happened to be near a store... so naturally I couldn't resist!!

While this may seem like my first merch haul post for a while, I actually have a couple more hauls ahead of this. They're traveling by sea though so it'll take quite some time before they arrive lol...

Anyway. Onto the merch haul!

「Rejet New Works Presentation 2020 TRY！」Announcements

Wow, it's been ages since I last sat in on a Rejet announcement video haha.

With everything going on in the world, Rejet has decided to do a special stay at home broadcast.

The host for this show is Toyonaga Toshiyuki. Guests appearing are Aoi Shouta (Marginal4: Shindo Tsubasa), Sawashiro Chiharu (Marginal4: Takimaru Alto), and Someya Toshiyuki (Marginal4: Nakama Teruma).

Rejet Archive - A (Legal) Way to Listen to Rejet's Old Dramas

It's no secret that Rejet has been trying to crack down on piracy for a long time now, using various methods throughout the years.

However in these trying times of self-isolation, Rejet has begun uploading many of their old dramas! I just discovered this channel and I'm so glad I did.

So far there's classic Dialovers (of course), Seventh Heaven, Wasurenagusa, and Soubou Sangokushi, along with some sound collections.

There are some conditions to the content they upload:

• 3 or more years passing since the original release (seeing some of these original dates... wow do I feel old lol)
• No plans for the CD to be rereleased
• No bonus/tokuten dramas

Besides Dialovers, I definitely recommend giving Seventh Heaven and Wasu a listen - and be prepared to cry too. It's also a convenient way to relive the feels from the first time I listened haha. I never got the chance to listen to Soubou, so I'm grateful that Rejet is uploading these.

Unboxing Diabolik Lovers More Blood Mukami/Tsukinami Mug

AHHHHHH A MUKAMI MUG!! And Tsukinamis but they're invisible to me

Akui preordered this for me as a Christmas gift since I didn't have a Mukami Mug of my own (b/c they're really hard to come by and not many mukami mugs are made in general //sobs) and now that it's released and arrived, it's gorgeous. (〃∇〃)

The art used is from the Alice in Wonderland version, with Carla/Shin/Ruki on one side and Kou/Yuma/Azusa on the other:

 

I've been using it about a week now??? It's a really nice mug! It has a nice glossy look, so I don't think the image will peel off or anything. The mug's also really good at retaining temperature too compared to general mugs I have at home (i.e. if you put a cold drink in it, it'll stay cold) and the inside doesn't stain easily. 

If I had it my way, I would just display it with my collection. But then I'd get in trouble |D

Here's an example of Animate's special set for a more professional image of how the mug itself looks lol. 

And of course, since it kinda goes along as a promo of the More Blood anime, it came with a little More Blood card, with a little snippet of episode 1 written on the back. ouob

( ﾟ▽ﾟ)/ The person here above has the summaries, seiyuus, and known release dates of Rejet's winter lineup - announced at their CHANGE event - in a nice, easy-to-read format.

I share most of their sentiments about the series too (please read their comments, they're beautiful). Overall, I'm pretty disappointed about the lineup myself. （；¬＿¬) The only things I'm looking forward to are the BWS vita port, Dialovers Lost Eden game/Lost Eden drama/Versus III, and Wasurenagusa (once I catch up pfff). Maybe G-Goku Onsen, but it's not up on the priority list. And maybe iD Best because that man has written many beautiful songs.

Guess I should take this as a sign to catch up on all the older Rejet works I've been meaning to listen to. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
