Shopping Haul June 2021: No Rejet No Life

Can you believe that after all these years, Rejet still has a hold on my heart and wallet? They really weren't kidding when they said No Rejet no Life LOL. 💸💸

Even though my last package was still sailing across the sea, I once again decided to purchase from DeJapan because I can never say no to great customer service and low proxy fees. 

Since I chose surface mail, it took about 3 months before it finally safely arrived! And now here I am making a post in December because... life haha.

Shopping Haul April/May 2021: Vita Games + Returning to my Roots

So in March, I decided to shop for merch and things on Ebay because I didn't have the strength to return to proxy shipping.

Well... I've changed my mind. 🤣 In addition to buying off Ebay, I'm now once again importing!

You may notice that it is no longer May... that's because I am but a poor soul who decided to choose Surface Mail for the bulk of my purchases LOL. 

The items that weren't bought off Ebay were bought through DeJapan, so if you're interested in my experience there'll be a review for that soon~

Unboxing: Uta no Prince-Sama Repeat Love - Limited Shining Love Box

I am extremely late to the UtaPri party but at last I can fully see what the series is all about! I bought the vita version because I didn't see any difference really with the Switch ver, plus this was cheaper and I get little goodies. Originally I wanted the Premium Box because I really liked the bonuses, but that mishap is a story you can read here lol. 

And yes I am finally making a post despite buying this in March! The brain is a fickle thing and I forgot I never published this post. 😅

London Detective Mysteria English Demo Review

A couple months ago, Xseed released a demo for their first otome game: London Detective Mysteria! (aka Eikoku Tantei Mysteria). I finally got around to playing the demo earlier this month. The demo only covers the prologue, but the game will be released onto both Vita and PC. The full game releases today on the 18th, but for now here's my impressions on the demo.

( ﾟ▽ﾟ)/ The person here above has the summaries, seiyuus, and known release dates of Rejet's winter lineup - announced at their CHANGE event - in a nice, easy-to-read format.

I share most of their sentiments about the series too (please read their comments, they're beautiful). Overall, I'm pretty disappointed about the lineup myself. （；¬＿¬) The only things I'm looking forward to are the BWS vita port, Dialovers Lost Eden game/Lost Eden drama/Versus III, and Wasurenagusa (once I catch up pfff). Maybe G-Goku Onsen, but it's not up on the priority list. And maybe iD Best because that man has written many beautiful songs.

Guess I should take this as a sign to catch up on all the older Rejet works I've been meaning to listen to. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

It's that time again for Rejet to announce their new line-up!! Rejet has been super clever, because their event titles 2014-2016 form a phrase: Discover(y) Only One Change. ⊂((・▽・))⊃

Unboxing Persona 4 Dancing All Night: Disco Fever Edition

AHHHHH I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO PICK THIS UP. Introducing the newest edition to my collection, Persona 4: Dancing All Night Disco Fever Edition! (aka the Limited Edition set). I'm weak when Persona's involved, and even weaker when rhythm games are involved, so of course I had to get it. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ Despite being a rhythm game, it still has plot that most definitely ties into the rhythm aspect. And apparently Hatsune Miku is also in this game as a DLC, which I didn't find out until a few days ago hahaha.

First of all, the Disco Fever Edition (DFE) gives you a lovely reflective collector's box, as pictured above. A huge bonus for me was that if you preordered it from GameStop, you get a giant rad poster of the cover art with it! 

If you don't know, I absolutely adore posters

ヾ(｡･ω･)ｼ This baby is definitely going to be hung proudly on my wall hnng. I'll have to see if using the double-sided tape method will work, since I don't want the picture to be torn off with the tape. I was also at school all day and didn't get to pick it up until at night, so I was really worried they'd run out of posters. (❁°͈▵°͈)

Norn9 is Getting Localized!

ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN, ANOTHER OTOGE IS BEING LOCALIZED!!

It was announced in a recent article that Aksys has decided to take on another otoge project for Vita, which will be localized as Norn9: Var Commons.

It'll release in both a digital AND PHYSICAL YAY. ☆*･゜ﾟ･*\(^O^)/*･゜ﾟ･*☆

About a year ago, the sequel Norn9: Last Era was released (along with an anime adaptation if I remember right?) and the first game was ported to Vita. It's awesome that we can get a localization after a fair amount of time after the Vita port~

Norn9 was one of those game I had my eyes on, but never got around to buying it, so I'm super excited for this localized release since I can plow through much quicker.  If I remember right, there are 3 heroines who each have their own set of bachelors, so I'll be looking forward to that as well. (*´・ｖ・)

Seems we know what company is getting my money this year. |D

2 Otome Games Getting Localized!

Okay, Amnesia: Memories (originally titled just Amnesia) I knew about coming West, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW CODE: REALIZE WAS COMING TOO. ━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━  Like, holy. I live under a rock you guys So to keep myself aware about it, I'll be info-dumping what I know. And fan-babbling. ouob

Amnesia: Memories

With as long as Amnesia's been going, it's interesting to see that it finally got ported to an English release. XD (Kinda like Hakuouki, how there was quite a bit of time) I guess now that the PSP's retired, it's about high time to start pumping out some Vita releases~

Amnesia: Memories was announced about last month and comes out August 2015, my birthday month ehehe. The only thing I'm a little bummed about is that it seems to be a download only. (ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟSo I may have to go invest in a larger mem card. Also presumably no goodies either UGH

But regardless, Amnesia is kinda like one of the the "starter pack" games of otome, I suppose, since many people know about it lol. (Kinda like for my age group, the "starter pack" anime was like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc. lol) Never really got around to playing Amnesia, though hopefully this'll motivate me since it'll be easier to breeze through in my first language. （　´∀｀）

Also considering it's Idea Factory International, I don't really have any worries about the English being a nightmare. Looking at you QuinRose

Code:Realize

Originally titled as Code:Realize ～創世の姫君～/ Code:Realize ~Sousei no Himegimi~, this game is getting localized as Code:Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth. (Which I can deal with) This announcement's only about a week old, BUT STILL. That's actually..... a really fast localization announcement considering the game came out November 27, 2014. XD

The English release isn't that far away, coming Fall 2015. ouo (The preorder links saying November 24)

As mentioned on a twitter post, there won't be any sort of  collector's edition //le cry// but there will be a physical release!! YAY!

Maybe they'll have a preorder bonus? (」ﾟヘﾟ)」 But hey, I'm happy with a localization and a physical copy, since Code:Realize was on my list to someday buy anyway~

I'm hoping that the cover art Aksys has right now is just a placeholder until they get a proper English cover. Because the one right now is so...... lame??
