First Time at Book Off! Shopping Haul June 2021

Over the years I've heard stories of people finding cheap otome games and merch at this second hand store called Book Off, but I could only dream of visiting since there are no locations where I live.

However I was out of town recently and happened to be near a store... so naturally I couldn't resist!!

While this may seem like my first merch haul post for a while, I actually have a couple more hauls ahead of this. They're traveling by sea though so it'll take quite some time before they arrive lol...

Anyway. Onto the merch haul!

Ken ga Kimi Released on Steam [JP/CHI]

Teased a while back by Beijing Happy Entertainment Technology, Ken ga Kimi has released today on Steam! Currently there is a 5% discount on the game.

Unfortunately to fans who play only English games, this game is available in only Japanese or Chinese (simplified or traditional). While it may not be as "accessible" per se, there are some good things about this release.

  1. Ken ga Kimi for PC isn't suuuper readily available for PC purchase. Otherwise there's KgK for vita, or a twin pack with both the original game & the fandisc.
  2. Rejet has been known to not be very localization friendly... So I'm actually a bit surprised there's a Chinese translation available now. This doesn't necessarily mean that Rejet is open to English translations, but it might be a good sign they'll willing to possibly expand.
    • I noticed a lot of people are commenting for an English translation as well. While it never hurts to try, it's not guaranteed either
  3. This Steam version is based off the Vita version, so it comes with the extra goodies
Ken ga Kimi is a game I've wanted to play for ages and I'm happy it's getting exposure again since it always seems to be so popular.

Part of me wants to buy the PC version because playing on a bigger screen is always nice. Another part of me though wants to save and import the twin pack version from somewhere... 🤔🤷‍♀️

But who knows! I'll reach a decision eventually lol.

Regardless, give it a play if you can and always remember to support!

That's all for now! Tune in below for some of the many beautiful art from this series. 😊

Re: Rejet 「CHANGE」 Event Announcements

https://purplenurplewonder.wordpress.com/2016/02/10/rejet-change-winter-2016-new-project-announcement-event/

( ゚▽゚)/ The person here above has the summaries, seiyuus, and known release dates of Rejet's winter lineup - announced at their CHANGE event - in a nice, easy-to-read format.

I share most of their sentiments about the series too (please read their comments, they're beautiful). Overall, I'm pretty disappointed about the lineup myself. (;¬_¬) The only things I'm looking forward to are the BWS vita port, Dialovers Lost Eden game/Lost Eden drama/Versus III, and Wasurenagusa (once I catch up pfff). Maybe G-Goku Onsen, but it's not up on the priority list. And maybe iD Best because that man has written many beautiful songs.

Guess I should take this as a sign to catch up on all the older Rejet works I've been meaning to listen to. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

2014 April - 2015 March Reject Calendar Scans

Well as some of you may or may not have known, Rejet was selling calendars on their official shop site for $30some each, with a different series being featured for each month. Personally, I had a hard time deciding if I should buy it or not, since I only wanted select series. Plus, I wanted that money for Dark Fate instead. XD Regardless, here are the scans to persuade you if you want to buy or just save the pretty pictures...or make your own calendar lol.
