Since I chose surface mail, it took about 3 months before it finally safely arrived! And now here I am making a post in December because... life haha.
Shuuen no Virche has been one of my most anticipated otome games for 2021, especially with the way Otomate has been heavily promoting it, so I decided to splurge and buy the Animate set! (｡´∀｀) I was very excited when it arrived a day early (and while I was in class remotely lmao), and it took all my willpower to not just tear into the box www.

I recently received some Shuuen no Virche bromides from Stellaworth, so I decided to try my hand at translating them! If you bought a certain amount of merchandise from Stellaworth during Otomate's Summer Art Exhibition, then you were eligible to choose a specific bromide set.

So in March, I decided to shop for merch and things on Ebay because I didn't have the strength to return to proxy shipping.
Well... I've changed my mind. 🤣 In addition to buying off Ebay, I'm now once again importing!
You may notice that it is no longer May... that's because I am but a poor soul who decided to choose Surface Mail for the bulk of my purchases LOL.
The items that weren't bought off Ebay were bought through DeJapan, so if you're interested in my experience there'll be a review for that soon~

I am extremely late to the UtaPri party but at last I can fully see what the series is all about! I bought the vita version because I didn't see any difference really with the Switch ver, plus this was cheaper and I get little goodies. Originally I wanted the Premium Box because I really liked the bonuses, but that mishap is a story you can read here lol.
And yes I am finally making a post despite buying this in March! The brain is a fickle thing and I forgot I never published this post. 😅

CDJapan was selling the 2-in-1- PS4 port Shinobi, Koi Utsutsu -Banka Aya Emaki- aka NinKoi for an insanely cheap price as part of their summer sale (only 2760 yen!?), so I decided to buy it as an early birthday gift for myself~ 🥳
This is more of a mini unboxing since I didn't buy anyplace special for shop bonuses, but I'm still happy with it!
After cryptically posting a lot of "Coming Soon" posts for both series on their Twitter accounts, Broccoli announced Switch ports for both Kamiaso and Korosuto! The new games will be titled Kamigami no Asobi Unite Edition and Koroshiya to Strawberry Plus respectively.
Kamiaso Unite Edition (rated Cero D) will be a 2-in-1 port that includes both PSP game Ludere Deorum and the PSP/Vita game InFinite. The content of the games will remain the same, but of course now you get to view in higher resolution~
Korosuto Plus (Cero rating TBA) will have a new voiced episode that takes place after the main story's love ending.
Surprisingly, Broccoli already has release dates for them, with Kamiaso to release on January 27, 2022 and Korosuto to release on February 23, 2022!

Aksys will also be bringing 4 more titles over to the West: Lover Pretend, Paradigm Paradox, Kimi wa Yukima ni Koinegau, and Piofiore Episodio 1926 will be releasing in 2022!
Piofiore fans of course are being fed with the sequel to the first game. It's amazing to see more lighthearted games like Lover Pretend and Paradigm Paradox, and it's a welcome surprise that KimiYuki is also being localized despite just releasing in Japan on July 29th of this year! 💖
It's the last day of July! And I'm here with a blog update.
A while back, Google announced that Feedburner, who manages Blogger's "Follow by Email" widget, would be discontinuing their email subscription service after July 2021. This means that starting tomorrow (or possibly even today depending on the timezone), anyone who is subscribed here via email will no longer receive notifications when I post something new.
I've been searching for a bit, but I hope to find another third party service that would let me do email subscriptions again. Apparently there is a way to export current email subscriptions but.. that is something I'll have to figure out at a later time. 😅
Until a find a solution, you can also find me on Twitter and Tumblr! Although I post and retweet/reblog lots of other content there too, I also include any Blog posts that I have made.
Alternatively, I have been considering the possibility of moving to Wordpress for a while now, but I hope it doesn't come to that since I am quite partial to Blogger. (Plus that means learning coding and formatting for a whole new site haha)

A version was then tweaked to better fit otome games, and thus this creation came about~ Even though there's a lot I still haven't played or finished, this seemed really fun so naturally I had to participate!

After approximately a six month hiatus with only a couple things posted in June, Rejet Archive will be resuming its uploading of older Rejet Drama CDs during this July! They even posted a schedule so you know which ikemen to be on the lookout for~
Over the years I've heard stories of people finding cheap otome games and merch at this second hand store called Book Off, but I could only dream of visiting since there are no locations where I live.
However I was out of town recently and happened to be near a store... so naturally I couldn't resist!!

MARS RED is a mystery/adventure F2P visual novel mobile game produced by the MARS RED Production Committee, D-techno, and Favary Inc., inspired by a play and anime of the same name by Bun-o Fujisawa.
The game currently is 280k words long and is full of content written exclusively for this game. It had to be delayed a bit but that's okay because it's finally here!
I am not familiar with the original play or anime, so my only knowledge of MARS RED will be coming from this game. Yet even though I knew nothing about it other than vague details about it (like vampires hunting other vampires- what?), I'm glad I decided to play this game. 😚

So Trans Day of Visibility was yesterday, and I actually discovered this little game by trans indie creator Taylor McCue thanks to Gayming Mag covering it.
Summary:
"Do I Pass" is a visual novel where you play as a transgender woman who is worried about if she passes or not. With the help of a magical webpage she becomes a ghost and peeks into the minds of others to determine how they feel about her. There are three endings depending on the types of interactions she encounters from other people.
It's a short game but also very interesting, and I'm very glad I stumbled onto this game!
