For those who don't know what Bakumatsu Rock is, it's basically about Shinsengumi men during the Bakumatsu period who want to use their rock 'n' roll music to save people from the brainwashing of the Shogunate LMAO.
As for the anime, it began airing yesterday (July 2) and will air 12 episodes, ending September 17.
But more importantly, HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THIS MAIN CAST???? AHHHHHH!!

It's also interesting how the seiyuus all have musical backgrounds, which you can read up on here. o3o
I have NO CLUE how this anime is gonna roll (Haha. Get my lame pun? *snicker*), but apparently it's just as bad as Free! and their fanservice. XD To which the fanservice boys and rockin' seiyuu can be seen here haha.
But regardless, it's music, and I like music stuff. And I like 3 of the main seiyuu (as well as some of the supporting character seiyuu such as Yasumoto Hiroki and Fujiwara Keiji ufufu). And goodness gracious, don't get me started on that crazy plot! So all those are factors that might push me to watch the anime. As if Kamiaso and Free! didn't give me enough fanservice already. (●´艸`)
Speaking of which, since I'm planning to watch the anime (and probably end up liking because THOSE SONGS), I might be motivated to play the game. Surprisingly it's a fairly new game to have an anime already - released in February 2014. For some reason, I thought it was an older game but hey it's pretty cool there's an anime out already. c:

Plus, having an anime adaptation can allow fans to know the game title, hence gathering more support. For example. Hakuouki and UtaPri were my first exposures to bishie men and otome. I tried looking at more otome animes but sadly there aren't many.;;; Then I became curious about the otome games a few years later when I picked up a PSP and well... Look where I am now. (；-◞౪◟-)
Just to clarify something, it's not an otome game, just an adventure rhythm visual novel.... though it seems to be marketed to a female crowd due to the fanservice and this CG LOL.

well its true you could get me to fan girl 10x more over a otome game then a bl game ....but i dont hate boy love ... nor would i go out my way to play them ... but DM look okay so i got the patched verstion of it and no thank you! look like it funny so why not XD It would make No Thank You!!! the first major Japanese BL game getting an official English release since JAST USA’s localization of Enzai and Absolute Obedience back in 2006.

XD I went through a whole BL phase in middle school. .... We do not speak of those years LOL. Though I still like BL, I just don't go frantic trying to find all the humanly possible BL on the face of the Earth. XD But yeah I can fangirl over otome or BL lmao.
